DWG is the native format of AutoCAD drawings. It is a proprietary format of Autodesk. Compatibility with ProfiCAD tools is therefore incomplete and not guaranteed.
DXF is a format for enabling data interoperability among CAD programs. This format is recommended for use with ProfiCAD.

The documents you view using ProfiCAD DXF/DWG viewer are transferred to the ProfiCAD server. There they are converted into graphical format, and the result is sent back into your Internet browser. The documents are deleted from the server ProfiCAD regularly and automatically. Given that the documents are transmitted over an unsecured Internet, it is not possible to ensure their confidentiality. For this reason, DO NOT USE ProfiCAD DXF/DWG viewer to view confidential documents. ProfiCAD cannot be held responsible for any leakage of information. The documents you view using ProfiCAD DXF/DWG viewer is considered to be PUBLIC.
